Bafana Bafana coach Molefi Ntseki roped in Lebo Manyama to replace Themba Zwane in the squad to face Ghana and Sudan in this week’s Afcon 2021 qualifying double-header.
Kaizer Chiefs attacking ace Manyama joined the local contingent who flew to Accra last night ahead of Thursday’s 9pm showdown against the Black Stars in Cape Coast.
South Africa’s foreign legion of Lebohang Phiri, Bongani Zungu, Lebo Mothiba, Thulani Serero, Percy Tau, Darren Keet and Kamohelo Mokotjo will join up with the rest of the squad on Tuesday in Ghana.

Coach Ntseki is on a mission to gather as much information on the Black Stars as possible ahead of his first competitive match in charge of the national team, having won his first match at the reins in the Nelson Mandela Challenge, where the team won 2-0 against Mali.
He reveals that he knows enough about coach Kwesi Appiah to prepare his side, but is still looking for more.

Ntseki says: “In terms of our analysis and profiling of Ghana, we played them in Dubai [before the 2019 Afcon] and there is not much of a change in their playing personnel.
“The coach [Kwesi] Appiah if he stays we have seen him and analysed him.
“Analysing is not only about the players you should also do the coach to seen what he prefers.
“We are still getting more clips so that when we go to the match with confidence.”
