All Premier League and lower division matches in England are to be played without spectators amid the coronavirus outbreak, according to reports in the UK.
The report said the season will not be postponed and that the games behind closed doors will not be shown in pubs “to avoid congregation of people”.
About 450 people in Britain have been infected by coronavirus and eight have died.
The Timessaid: “The plan may be implemented once the number of UK coronavirus cases passes 500.”
Leicester have three players in self-isolation due to coronavirus fears while Chelsea have cancelled Thursday’s first-team training so that their Cobham base could undergo a deap cleanse.

Chelsea players were told to keep away from the training ground as the cleaning was carried out.
Chelsea are scheduled to play Aston Villa at Villa Park this weekend.
