Cape Town City got back to their winning ways on Sunday with a 2-0 win over Bloem Celtic.
The three points at Athlone Stadium lifted them seven above the foot of the table.
Following a long break from action, a 3-2 loss at Polokwane on February 16 was coach Jan Olde Riekerink’s manne’s last league outing, City didn’t need long to get up to speed.
And after ramping up the pressure on Steve Komphela’s visitors, Thabo Nodada applied the finishing touch to a slick move between
himself and Surprise Ralani.
After an exchange of passes, Nodada put the ball in the back of the net for his fifth goal of the season as Ralani set up his ninth strike for his team.
