Arsenal believe in new boss Mikel Arteta after the former captain led them to his first victory with a 2-0 over Manchester United on Wednesday night.
The Gunners dominated in the first half and scored in the ninth minute through Nicolas Pepe before Sokratis sealed the points with a 42nd-minute close-range strike.
Arteta’s manne were fluid and dangerous in attack and could have stretched their lead before the break.
The New Year’s Day victory seemed like a new beginning for the Emirates side after their worst start to a Premier League season.

And defender David Luiz reckons that this could be the turning point of the campaign with Leeds United coming to the Emirates on Monday in the FA Cup third round.
He tells BT Sport: “It was great. “We have to be humble enough to admit, physically we were not ready. So we showed that, when physically you aren’t there you need heart.
“This team is in the moment to change a lot of things. We are going to do big things in the future, but step by step.
“I think Mikel is a great coach. He knows football.

“I believe in this philosophy and he can improve every single player.
“In life, when you are happy the results can be totally different.
“Our season isn’t there, we started really bad.
“Things can change and we still have some titles to fight for, and improvement for the team and the future.”
