After recovering from a knee injury that ruled him out for most of the year, Bulls wing Jamba Ulengo is ready to reclaim his Springbok jersey from Lions star Aphiwe Dyantyi.
Having made his international debut for South Africa in the No.11 jersey against Wales in 2016, Ulengo could only watch as Dyantyi wore his old jersey during the England series in June.
On Saturday, he will have his chance to set the record straight when the Bulls face the Lions at Ellis Park.
Of possibly facing another Springbok wing in Ruan Combrinck, Ulengo says of the clash: “I’m a Springbok myself, I won’t put myself down.
“The more I play, the more confident I get.
“I think it is going to be a great game and the supporters who are going to be there are going to get their money’s worth.
“It is going to be an awesome game and hopefully we will pull it through.”
