The Proteas will trek die laaste paar goedjies reg when they face Pakistan in their final warm-up match for the T20 World Cup today at 4pm.
Captain Temba Bavuma and his teammates put in a complete performance in their first warm-up against Afghanistan on Monday, winning that match by 41 runs.
While South Africa will face the third-ranked team in the world, Australia have also been biesag getting ready for the big Super 12 clash on Saturday.
After beating New Zealand by three wickets in their first practice match on Monday – with Steve Smith top-scoring with 35 off 30 balls - they face India at 12pm today in a mouthwatering pre-tournament clash.
As for South Africa, Bavuma and his team will look to get out of the blocks quicker than what they did against Afghanistan.
The captain himself faced the first 12 balls – first two overs – of the innings and could only score a single run.
Needing time in the middle after recovering from injury, Bavuma will be forgiven for taking his time.
But he will know that scores of 55/1 after 10 overs will not be enough against the big guns.
South Africa recovered to score 145/5 before restricting Afghanistan to 104/8, but it’s in the batting department where they will look to continue where they left off and put the hammer down.
