Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo believes the win against Manchester United came just at the right time for his club.
Santo’s men play Watford on Sunday in the FA Cup final and despite calls for resting his key players in the United tie, the coach played all his big guns.
And now he expects them to use this momentum in the knockout clash against Watford.
Of the win over United, Santo says: “To do it twice against such an amazing team - I’m pleased for the fans and the boys.”
The Portuguese coach is also adamant that he made the right choice to play his stars against the Devils.
He adds: “No, there’s no such thing [as resting our best players].
“There was the game, there was a game plan, we take the decisions and the options, and we prepare for the next one.”
