Manchester United coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed that they will be without two of their stars for Sunday’s Premier League visit from rivals Liverpool (5.30pm).
Goalkeeper David de Gea and midfielder Paul Pogba have both been ruled out, with Solskjaer saying of the Spanish shot-stopper: “David needs a scan [after a groin injury on international duty].
“I think he’ll be out.”
Pogba, meanwhile, hasn’t featured since the 1-1 draw with Arsenal due to his ankle problems.

And Solskjaer adds: “Paul had an injury, he came back, he worked really hard.
“He came back and played a couple of games, maybe played through the pain barrier.
“He had a scan after the Arsenal game and maybe needed a few weeks’ rest in a boot, so hopefully he won’t be too long, but he won’t make this game, no.”
Meanwhile, fit-again stars Aaron Wan-Bissaka and striker Anthony Martial might only have bit roles to play.
