Kaizer Chiefs coach Giovanni Solinas believes Baroka FC were the fresher side after Tuesday night’s 1-1 PSL draw.
Solinas is yet to taste victory in the league at the helm of Amakhosi since taking the reins at the end of last month.
After booking a showdown with SuperSport United in MTN8 semifinals with a 3-0 win over Free State Stars on Saturday, Chiefs found themselves a goal down in the 36th minute thanks to a Daniel Cardoso own goal.
But veteran playmaker Siphiwe Tshabalala snatched a point with a controversial goal just before the break.
Chiefs were sluggish and couldn’t find a winner.
And Solinas says: “At the end of the game [we were] a little bit fatigued.
“Baroka had an advantage because they did not play on Saturday [weekend] and are fresh.”
