Percy Tau says his Brighton future will be sorted out after this year’s Afcon.
The 24-year-old Bafana Bafana star was named the Belgian First Division B Player of the Season on Monday night after starring for Royale Union Saint-Gilloise, on loan from the Premier League club.
And with the Seagulls maintaining their top-flight status for next term, the former Mamelodi Sundowns ace is hoping to get his work permit sorted out to compete in the Prem.
I’d like to say thank you to everyone who voted for me. A big thank you to @UnionStGilloise players and staff for the achievement,I share with y’all. To the supporters, thank you for warm welcome to the Club. ❤️🇿🇦🇧🇪 pic.twitter.com/djkSYUbCcM

But Tau says his only focus for now is to earn Union a spot in next season’s Europa League playoffs.
He explains: “I think that [the work permit issue] will all be decided after the Afcon which I have in June, but the whole focus at the moment is just at Union to try and finish off the [Europa League] playoffs that we have.”
