Tottenham hotshot Harry Kane says he is “ready to go” for Saturday’s Champions League final against Liverpool.
It’s a massive boost for Spurs after the England captain was ruled out for the rest of the season with an ankle injury suffered in the April 9 quarterfinal first leg against Manchester City.
Kane has had his share of injury problems this campaign, missing six weeks in January and February with damaged ligaments in the same left ankle.
He still managed to score 24 goals in all competitions and now the 25-year-old striker is hoping to add to his tally and help Spurs lift the European Cup for the first time.

Ahead of this weekend’s clash in in Madrid, he says: “I feel good. There have been no problems so far.
“I started to feel my way back with the team at the end of last week. This week now is to get the fitness as high as possible.
“Then it’s down to the manager. The manager will assess it and decide whether I’m ready to go or not but, so far, I feel good and ready.
“When the injury happened, the only game available was this one because it was the only one in the time-frame.

“It worked well in terms of the rehab; there was no time to rush back."
Meanwhile, coach Mauricio Pochettino adds that Tottenham’s other injured players – Harry Winks, Jan Vertonghen and Davinson Sanchez – were also on track to be fit to make the squad for the game.
