Manchester United caretaker boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has had to deny that legendary former coach Alex Ferguson is behind the Red Devils’ revival.
Since Solskjaer took over from sacked Jose Mourinho seven matches ago, United have won every game.
It’s a near-miraculous turnaround for the club, who are now three points outside of the Premier League top four.
Solskjaer is often quoted citing Fergie, under who he played at Old Trafford for 11 years, but the Norwegian says that the Scot doesn’t have a hands-on role behind the scenes.

Ole says: “We don’t speak weekly.
“I haven’t spoken to him many times.
“He has been in to visit us just once.
“The influence is more my 15 years under him.
“He is 77, it is not fair to him either is it?”
