Harry Kane is targeting the FA Cup as Tottenham look to end their 11-year trophy drought.
Spurs last lifted silverware in the 2008/09 League Cup and Kane wants that to end, with the mission beginning tonight at Tranmere Rovers in the FA Cup third round before hosting Chelsea in the first leg of the League Cup semifinal on Tuesday.
The striker won the World Cup’s Golden Boot in June to go with the pair he earned as Premier League top scorer in 2015-16 and 2016-17, but is desperate for a piece of hardware representing team success.
And for his New Year’s resolution, he says: "To win a team trophy. That’s the goal and that’s what I’m aiming for personally. Hopefully, we can achieve that.”
