Cape Town City boss Jan Olde Riekerink will have to get his team scoring if he wants to end his wait for a first win in charge of the PSL side.
Riekerink’s manne played to frustrating goalless draw, their second in a row under the Dutchman, against Highlands Park at Cape Town Stadium on Saturday.
City created chances in the first half with Kermit Erasmus back to lead the attack after a hamstring problem which kept him out of the draw with Bloem Celtic on Wednesday.
But after going off after 17 minutes of play, the Citizens are sitting with a problem as his replacement Fagrie Lakay sukkeled to find his bearings in front of goal.
Riyaad Norodien was City’s other bright spark on the day, however Dutchman Riekerink will now feel that he has some work to do this week at City’s Hartleyvale base.

Meanwhile, Stellenbosch bounced back from their midweek 4-1 pak from Kaizer Chiefs with a 1-1 draw at SuperSport United on Saturday.
Coach Steve Barker team took their hosts to the halftime break with the contest still goalless, but Stellies were finally breached just after the interval when Kudakwashe Mahachi volleyed home through a crowded penalty area.
However, the Bolanders fought back hard and equalised on the hourmark.
Striker Waseem Isaacs scored this fifth goal this term, latching onto a brilliant through-ball before beating Ronwen Williams in a one-on-one showdown.
