Cape Town City are considering offers for captain Thami Mkhize.
The 30-year-old rightback has seen his stock rise considerably after yet another solid season with the Citizens last term.
Having taken the armband from Robyn Johannes, “Mr. Reliable” added steel to the City backline and width in attack.
He lifted the MTN8 trophy for his club and cemented a place in the Bafana Bafana side to boot and further enhanced his reputation at the recent Afcon tournament in Egypt.
Mkhize has now attracted suitors in Turkey, Saudi Arabia and China.
His chairman John Comitis reveals: “I’ve received a lot of interest on Mkhize, especially after the first two [Afcon] games. Not much has happened since the last game.

“We are still waiting and we are open to offers because it will be to his benefit since he wants to move overseas. If he doesn’t, he still has a contract with us and he will continue playing for City.”
While Mkhize is flattered by the interest abroad, he admits that he would love to win the PSL with City.
He adds: “Personally, I would love to win the league with Cape Town City. It is also my desire to compete in the Caf Champions League.
“If there’s also an opportunity to go overseas, I would really love to use it to the best of my ability.
“It is a motivation on its own that there are teams that have inquired about my services overseas. It shows that there’s something that I’m doing well."
