Still chewing on their Champions League exit in the quarterfinal on Tuesday night, Manchester United have another taai toffee to kou when they travel to Everton on Sunday.
Knocked out 3-0 by Barcelona in Spain (4-0 on aggregate), United are also currently out of the top four in the Premier League.
Sixth on the log - two points behind Arsenal in fourth - the Red Devils won’t be playing in the Champions League next
season if they remain in that
position.
Solskjaer, though, will have none of it and says they must get over the Barcelona defeat soon if they want to make the top four.
He explains: “We want to play these games again next year, so we have a massive week coming up.
“There is no point dwelling on what could have been. We have to focus on that week.”
Solskjaer adds: “The next few years will be massive for us to get to the level of Barcelona.
“We have got good players and, at the moment, we really have done well to get to the quarters and to get in the challenge for the top four.”
After facing Everton on Sunday, the Red Devils then gear up for the Manchester derby on Wednesday.
