Liverpool are on red alert for Wednesday night’s 9 pm Champions League meeting with Red Star Belgrade.
Coach Jurgen Klopp has warned his manne not to take the winless Serbians lightly at Anfield, with his Merseysiders looking to boost their chances of topping Group C after losing to Napoli in their last outing.
The German says: “Red Star are THE team of Serbia, and made it really difficult for Napoli [which ended in a goalless draw]. And for PSG, even if the [6-1] score wouldn’t make you think so.
“When we have the ball, we have to attack with all that we have.”
Goals have been hard to come by for the Reds recently, scoring just once in their last three games.

That strike came courtesy of Mo Salah in Saturday’s 1-0 win at Huddersfield.
With winger Sadio Mane in contention to play after a broken thumb, Salah, Roberto Firmino and Daniel Sturridge could get more help up front.
And defender Virgil van Dijk believes that the Reds must up their game for what he expects will be another test for last May’s Champions League finalists.
Van Dijk says: “We will try to score more goals. I think everyone is giving their all. Obviously, we have things to improve up front and also at the back.”
