Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta says he has recovered from Covid-19, while Italy and AC Milan great Paolo Maldini hopes to beat the disease “in a week”.
Arteta tested positive on 12 March and no Premier League game has been played since.
But the healthy-again 37-year-old tells Spanish radio: “I am very well now. I feel that I have recovered. It took me three or four days to start feeling better, with more energy, to leave the symptoms behind.”

Meanwhile, Maldini, whose career spanned three decades, reckons he and his Milan player son Daniele are fine. On a social media post, he told fans: “I wanted to thank all those people who expressed on social media their love and concern for my and my son’s health.
“We’re fine. We should be able to get rid of this virus within a week. Thanks for your continuing affection.”
