Springbok Curwin Bosch will be only considered as a flyhalf for the Sharks in next year’s Super Rugby campaign.
Bosch, who mostly played at fullback last season Robert du Preez played his son Robert Junior at pivot, will now specialise in the No.10 jumper according to Sharks coach Sean Everitt.
The boss tells SuperSport: “If we have an injury at fullback I will ask Boeta Chamberlain or Lwazi Mvovo to play there before I’d ask Curwin to, we want him to specialise as a flyhalf.
“Curwin has a real spring to his step at the moment.
“He has extended his stay with us by another two years and he is extremely motivated.
“He wants to stake a strong claim to be the Springbok flyhalf.”
Bosch played two Tests for the Boks - the first in 2017 off the bench and the second as a fullback against Wales in Washington last year.
