The Crusaders are looking to give themselves a lekker tyd in the Mother City this week.
Having not been to Cape Town to play the Stormers at Newlands in a while, coach Scott “Razor” Robertson says they will enjoy the experience and has also called on the Cape Crusaders to come out and support his team.
He says: “The Cape Crusaders - we’ve got a great support base over there.
“It’s been 2013 since we’ve last been there - so it’s been a while.
“It’s enjoyable to go down to Cape Town and connect with the locals.”
Robertson is apparently all about mixing work and fun according to captain Matt Todd.

The 31-year-old flanker explains: “Razor [Robertson] works hard on creating a place you enjoy coming to each day.
“He’s big on 'if you care about the team, you work hard for the team'.
“So we go out there and we work hard for each other.
“He’s great at getting that mix of working hard and also having fun. It’s a fun environment to be in and you can see it on the field.”
Of his coaching style, Robertson adds: “I like to create a space where the boys can have fun and express themselves; all our focus is based around getting better and enjoying ourselves.”
Even though the Saders currently top of the log and having won the last two tournaments, 44-year-old Robertson reckons there is still room for improvement in his team.

And he believes it’s when the game is slowed down by the opposition that they struggle.
Robertson explains: “When the Sharks slowed us down and frustrated us and took it to a set piece game [in the 21-21 draw in New Zealand two weeks ago], we couldn’t get any momentum.
“Every game of rugby is different and we have to make sure we’re on [against the Stormers].”
