Fullback Dillyn Leyds is fit and ready to go again for Western Province in their Currie Cup semifinal clash against the Blue Bulls at Newlands on Saturday.
Leyds missed last weekend’s rain-affected 34-7 win over the Pretoria outfit with a calf injury.
Having been included in the original team, Leyds was a late withdrawal meaning flyhalf Damian Willemse then had to do duty in the No.15 jumper.
Another Springbok Bongi Mbonambi, who was rested for the clash, is also ready to take the field again.
Assistant coach Norman Laker admits that the welcome return of their stars leaves them with a pleasant selection headache ahead of the knockout game.
Laker explains: “It’s a difficult one. It’s still early in the week, so we haven’t discussed team selections yet. But it is a nice dilemma to have with the quality of players we have.”

With Leyds back, Willemse might shift to flyhalf again.
The Springbok youngster, though, doesn’t care where he is on the pitch, as long as he is playing.
Willemse says of the two positions: "There is a huge difference between flyhalf and fullback.
“At flyhalf, controlling the game [is an aspect I enjoy]. There is huge responsibility on the flyhalf’s shoulders and you must make sure you get the team going forward.
“At 15, there is a bit more freedom, scanning and making decisions from the back. That’s something that is really exciting for me.
“Both are challenging - especially high balls at fullback, it’s something I’ve been working on.”
