Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane warned his PSL colleagues not to risk their players’ fitness as Mzansi football warms up.
The Brazilians boss saw his team play two matches since Saturday’s restart.
They won their opening game - a 3-2 Nedbank Cup semifinal victory over Wits at the weekend.
Bra Jingles then watched as his team was dominated by Orlando Pirates in Tuesday night’s goalless draw in the first league game post-coronavirus lockdown.
And before tomorrow’s night 6pm clash against Highlands Park at Dobsonville, Mosimane has some advice.
In a virtual post-match press, he says: “The lessons learned from this game is that in the second game, you might not be as strong as you thought you were in the first game.
“So, lessons learned are to do the substitutions as quickly as possible. We’ve told our players, ‘If you feel any discomfort or anything, you have to come out because we have five subs and we’ve got three chances to make them.
“‘You cannot be selfish because if you get injured, when you come back, the league [season] is finished’.
“So, those are the lessons learned.”
