Mason Greenwood fired a brace to give Manchester United a 3-1 Premier League win over Burnley at Old Trafford last night.
The win saw United move eight points behind leaders Manchester City, while the Clarets are six points above the relegation zone.
The hosts made the breakthrough in the 48th minute when Marcus Rashford drove down the left, with his cross dummied by Bruno Fernandes for Mason Greenwood to fire home.
But the Clarets hit back almost immediately when James Tarkowski rose highest to thump in a header from a corner less than two minutes later.
But Greenwood’s 85th-minute deflected strike secured the points before Edinson Cavani tucked in a third in injury-time.
