If Manchester City dropped any points in their late Premier League match against Chelsea last night, then Liverpool are champions for the first time in 30 years today.
If not, they will have to wait a little longer.
Either way, this is their season according to striker Mo Salah, who was one of four goal scorers in their 4-0 drubbing of Crystal Palace on Wednesday.
That win opened up a gap of 23 points between them and second-placed City.
A City win over Chelsea would have closed the gap to 20 points with seven matches left to play and a maximum of 21 points up for grabs, leaving the teams with all to play for when coach Jurgen Klopp’s Reds travel to the Etihad Stadium next Thursday.

Salah can’t wait to lift the trophy and says: “I feel great. Since I came here [to Liverpool] I said I want to win the
Premier League with the team.
“The city didn’t win it for a long time, so it was the right time.
“Maybe last year we had a chance to win it but Man City also performed really good and they won it. It’s our time to win it and it’s great.”
