Former Proteas captain Graeme Smith is to walk down the aisle a second time.
The retired cricketer shared news of his engagement to fianceé, Romy Lanfranchi, with fans Instagram on Wednesday.
The couple - who share a child together - can be seen smiling broadly as Lanfranchi breks with her engagement ring. Smith captioned the image: “About last night.”
After sharing the news, fans flooded the comments section with well-wishes.
One user wrote: “Aaaaah amazing you guys! Super happy for you both. Sending so much love (sic)”.
Retired cricketer Pat Symcox joked that it “was a huge night for G”, before wishing the couple “all the best for the time ahead”.
Other local celebs who congratulated the couple include Maps Maponyane and Bryan Habana.
The pair started dating after Smith split from his first wife, Irish singer Morgan Deane, in 2014.
They married in 2011 and have two kids.
