Former Bafana Bafana boss Stuart Baxter is not going back to Kaizer Chiefs, but he is keen on a return to Mzansi if the right project comes along at the right time.
Baxter’s agent dismissed reports linking him with Amakhosi, who haven’t won a trophy since the Brit left them for a second stint with the national team at the start of the 2014/15 term.
Baxter led the Glamour Boys to back-to-back PSL titles, a Nedbank Cup and MTN8 crown during his three years in charge.
But according to his manager Steve Kapeluschnik, daarsie kans van ‘n return nie- especially if coach Ernst Middendorp’s manne can press home their four-point advantage at the top of the PSL should he season resume.
Kapeluschnik tells IOL: “No, he hasn’t been linked with Chiefs.
“What I said is that Baxter loves the country and if there is a project that is available and the timing is right for him and the project is right, he will consider the project.”
