Proteas limited-overs captain Temba Bavuma has joined the national rugby captain Siya Kolisi in signing for Jay-Z’s Roc Nation Sports.
A statement released by Roc Nation yesterday reads: “The batsman became the first black African player to be appointed as captain of the Proteas in March, and is a significant signing in a key strategic move for Roc Nation Sports’ South African business.”
Bavuma adds: “I am at an important phase of my career and I feel it is crucial to have the right people and support for me to achieve my objectives on and off the field.
“Roc Nation Sports are passionate and committed towards giving their players the best opportunity and resources to achieve their goals, I look forward to this next chapter of my career.
