Stellenbosch boss Steve Barker says his team must be oppit when they welcome Orlando Pirates to the Danie Craven Stadium for a PSL clash tomorrow.
Barker was not a happy man after seeing his side fail to finish off AmaZulu to consolidate their second place in the league after taking a 2-0 lead on Saturday and only coming away with a 2-2 draw.
Against a Pirates side that hasn’t won in their last two games, Barker wants to see a big improvement from his Bolanders and maximum points.
He says: “Obviously, it’s disappointing to see the result slip away. There is a lot of improvement to be done before Wednesday
“We need a big bounce-back and resilient performance.”
With his team still unbeaten this season, Barker could see a silver lining with their confidence still growing this term.
He adds: “One positive from this: The team has progressed when we are not playing well, yet we are still able to pick up points.”
