Just like the dikes that hold back the sea in the Netherlands, Liverpool have their own dam wall - Virgil van Dijk.
The Holland captain is the reigning Premier League and PFA Player of the Year and the defender has been imperious again this season again.
Van Dijk scored the opener in the Reds’ 2-0 win over Manchester United that moved the 16 points clear at the top of the league.
But it was also the seventh clean sheet in a row for Van Dijk and his teammates.
And the Dutchman hailed the Prem leaders’ solid defensive record as a team effort as they head into Thursday night’s test against Wolves.
He says: “Everyone is involved in that. We have a fantastic goalkeeper, the fullbacks doing their job, our midfielders and stars obviously upfront so it is a whole collective thing.
“As a defender, we are very pleased to keep clean sheets because we all know that if we keep a clean sheet there is a big chance to win."
