The unbeaten Stormers eye their fourth win in as many matches when they host the Jaguares at Newlands on Saturday.
But winger Sergeal Petersen has warned his teammates that this will be their toughest test to date after already beating the Hurricanes 27-0, the Bulls 13-0 and the Lions 33-30 this season.
The 25-year-old explains: “This weekend is probably the biggest game for us - it’s the two conference leaders up against each other.
“It will be a nice test for us to see how far we’ve come from pre-season in terms of structure and what is expected of us - if we can make it four in a row, that will be perfect.
“In an ideal world, we hope that the attack and defence come together this weekend.
“So much was on offer from an attacking point of view [against the Lions last weekend], we could have scored three or four more tries in the first half already.”
Basically an Argentina national team in disguise, Petersen expects the Jaguares to be in their faces, meaning they will be challenged both mentally and physically.

He says: “They never give up. They will be in your face all day.
“They bring that physical aspect to the game - whether it’s in the forwards or in the backline.
“For us it’s going to be a character test - we slipped a few tries this past weekend [against the Lions], so we just need to tighten up there.
“If we pitch up physically and mentally, we should be fine.”
With a number of Springboks in their side, Petersen says they also benefit from the experience of Wales centre Jamie Roberts who joined at the start of the season.
According to the wing, Roberts helps with preparation for the mental side.

He explains: “The calmness he brings to the backline [is greatly appreciated].
“When we slip up, he will always have a clam head.”
The Stormers will be banking on that calm head if they do slip up early against last year’s beaten finalists.
