Manchester United host Liverpool in what could be regarded as one of their most one-sided meetings in decades this Sunday.
Three decades ago, when Liverpool ruled the roost, Alex Ferguson’s early United wanted to knock the all-conquering Reds off their “f****** perch”.
And during Fergie’s glory years, there was always the chance that Steven Gerrard’s fired-up teams could damage a title charge.
But this weekend, it’s almost set in stone that Jurgen Klopp’s Premier League leaders will beat their hosts at Old Trafford.
It’s been almost a straight drop for United since Fergie retired in 2013 and come Sunday it seems like they will be off the perch.
In those six seasons since the Scot left the hotseat with a 13th league title as a farewell, United haven’t come close to another.
And while Liverpool are still waiting for a first title since 1990, the signs are there that Klopp is about to break the drought.

With an English-record sixth Champions League title in May and a perfect winning start to the league campaign, Liverpool look ominous.
Still, this game has more consequences for United’s future rather than Liverpool’s.
While, Klopp and his team can look to the end of the season, United and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer know things could be very different this time next week.
The skinner says Solskjaer will get the sack if they get a pak.
And with the sort of form that leaves them two points above the drop zone, you can only imagine what pain Mo Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino can cause.
I doubt that getting rid of Solskjaer will make a difference after it was revealed that Klopp turned down the chance to take the reins.

If it’s true, the German coach said that he had no interest in the job because United don’t behave or think like a football club.
Fans have long pointed to CEO Ed Woodward as the reason for United’s slide.
Building revenue for owners the Glazers is his first priority - money will buy success.
Fans have to look over the fence at Man City to see how that is done though.
On the flipside, Liverpool now go on a run that could define their season too.

On form, the Reds look sure of at least nine points before taking on champions City.
But two shocks could easily make the City showdown another massive clash.
