Paul Pogba hit out at “fake news” that he snubbed coach Ole Gunnar Soslkjaer after Sunday’s 5-0 Premier League defeat to Liverpool at Old Trafford.
The French midfielder took the field as a half-time substitute and left it again 15 minutes later stert tussen die bene after being sent off for a dangerous tackle on Naby Keita.
According a report in the UK’s Sun, Pogba the apologised to his teammates after the match, but ignored Solskjaer.
This fuelled rumours that the match could be Pogba’s last for United – especially with his contract running out at the end of the season.
But Wednesday, the 28-year-old star posted a picture on Twitter of the report with “fake news” stamped over it.
The World Cup winner added: “Big lies to make headlines”.

Still, Pogba will miss United’s next three Premier League games, starting with Tottenham this Saturday and including a derby clash with Manchester City and Watford.
And with his contract running out, United legend Paul Scholes reckons this could be the end of the Frenchman’s journey at United.
Scholes told Premier League Productions: “Paul Pogba coming on to the pitch at halftime to try and help the team and maybe get a little respectability about it, tries to stand on the ball, tries to show how strong he is in the middle of the pitch… gives the goal away.
“Then later on gets sent off with a ridiculous tackle.
“He’s caused mayhem over the last couple of years.
“But with all the commotion, not signing his contract, almost holding the club to ransom, and then he comes on and does something like that.
“Look, he probably will play [again] won’t he?
“But I don't think they will be missing anything if he doesn’t.”
