Orlando Pirates attacking sensation Thembinkosi Lorch has promised the Ghost more silverware this season.
This after the winger led the Sea Robbers to their first trophy since 2015, the Carling Black Label Cup, by scoring a stunner on
Saturday.
Having scored Bafana Bafana’s winner that knocked Mo Salah’s Pharaohs out of the recent Egypt-hosted Afcon before South Africa were eliminated by Nigeria in the quarterfinals, Lorch gave his club fans something they won’t soon forget.

After Augustine Mulenga had given Pirates an 18th-minute lead against Kaizer Chiefs, the 26-year-old took a pass from the left flank on the half-hour mark, picked his spot and curled a long-range strike into the far corner.
And the former Cape Town All Stars ace celebrated the Soweto derby victory with a promise to his fans.

He says: “I want to promise them that we will win trophies for them. They must keep on coming to the stadium to support us. We appreciate them.
“I want to thank God for the talent he gave me and I promise to honour it.
“When I received the ball, I could see the goalkeeper was off his line and I knew where I should put it.
“I was away with Bafana, I had a good camp with them. Even the team here they were doing well so I just had to come back and add to what they were doing.”
Bucs begin their PSL campaign this Saturday by hosting Bloemfontein Celtic in a 6pm kickoff.
