Liverpool haters were out in full force this week as the Reds finally stumbled.
Yes, fans of rival clubs are celebrating that.
And what a pathetic bunch we are, trying to twist what will be Liverpool’s first league title in 30 years.
There has not been much to criticise about Jurgen Klopp’s Red machine this season.
Up until Saturday, they hadn’t lost in the Premier League.
It gave miserable Arsenal fans the most pleasure they have had all season.
The Gunners have sukkeled to break into the top six of the league and are suffering their worst Premier League season and may miss out of European football next term.

But that one Liverpool defeat made sure Klopp’s manne would not emulate the Gunners’ immortal team of the early 2000s.
That feat in back in 2003/04, Arsenal’s last title win, was no doubt being undervalued.
But for Arsenal fans, it was a big win in the smallest possible way.
In fact the 3-0 loss at Watford was only the second time Liverpool had dropped points all season.
That other time was a draw with Manchester United.
And before Watford finally bloodied Liverpool’s noses, United fans had prided themselves on even touching the Reds.
But then came the Merseysiders’ Tuesday night’s FA Cup exit at Chelsea, then it became all about the Red Devils.

Dead were Klopp and his team’s chance off a treble like United’s in 1998/99.
Liverpool already hold the European Cup, the Club World Cup, the UEFA Super Cup.
But they will not get any credit from United fans now.
Liverpool have bottled it in their eyes.
Think about that for a second.
Liverpool have still won every other league fixture they have played this season.

With 26 wins in their 28 games, they will still eclipse Manchester City’s Prem record of 100 points after 38 at their current win rate.
They are still a remarkable team. The wobble was always going to come.
They just need to avoid a last-16 exit to save themselves more embarrassment or they will be giving rival fans more ammunition.
