What is it with South Africa and recycling coaches?
Seriously, I cannot wrap my head around it.
I get it if a good coach becomes available, you keep him in the league because he has the experience and he knows the other teams.
That’s fair enough.
But this constant chopping and swapping of coaches drives me mad.
Now it’s even worse because it seems like one of our former Bafana Bafana coaches, Carlos Queiroz, has expressed his interest in the job.
Safa say they haven’t started the search for a new coach yet because of Shakes Mashaba going to the CCMA with an unfair dismissal case.
I hope, once they do start searching, they look for a fresh option for the national team.
There are many coaches out there who might succeed and rather than going back to what we know, why not give someone new a chance?
