Chad Solomon is set to make his Stormers debut off the bench when they host the Highlanders at Newlands on Saturday.
Having made his debut for Western Province in the Vodacom Cup in 2014, it has been a long wait for the 25-year-old son of team manager Chippie, to make his first appearance in a Stormers jumper.
But with Bongi Mbonambi ruled out of the encounter because of a leg injury, Solomon comes in on the bench to take the place of Scarra Ntubeni who will start the match against the Kiwis.
The change at hooker is the only one to the team that played to a 19-all draw with the Crusaders last weekend.
There is one more change to the bench, with fit-again Springbok prop Wilco Louw set to play off the wood.

While it might be a first appearance for Solomon, it will be a 50th celebration for flanker Pieter-Steph du Toit.
And coach Robbie Fleck would like nothing more than to celebrate the great occasion with a win.
For that to happen, he wants the same atmosphere at Newlands as they enjoyed when Kiwi rivals Crusaders were in town last week.
Fleck says: “The atmosphere last week was incredible and the players can’t wait to get out there again and play in front of our fans.
“We want to keep building and improving as we approach the end of the season and this match will be another important step forward for us.”
