Stormers boss John Dobson wants more flair and threat from his backline as his team chase a fifth win in a row.
The Cape side may lead the Super Rugby table as the only team with an unbeaten start to the season, but Dobbo insists they must take their game to another level.
Having crossed the tryline 12 times this season already, Dobson is expecting more when his side host the unpredictable Blues on Saturday (3.05pm).
He says: “Our game is designed to create space for our steppers, for Sergeal [Petersen], for Damian [Willemse]and that’s where we’re letting ourselves down so far.
“That’s what we want to put right this week. Not just to rely on our pack and character. But I think we’re getting there.

“We were really good at the breakdown [in last week’s 17-7 win over the Jaguares] - we didn’t concede a turnover our phase-count doubled.
“At Ellis Park [against the Lions where they won 33-30] we didn’t have a phase-count. We’re averaging four phases per attack, it’s still not high enough but at least there were those signs.”

He adds of a Blues side led by Beauden Barrett and coached by Leon McDonald and Tana Umaga: “They’re quite unpredictable.
“They’re physical but they’re sort of quite off-the-cuff as well.

“So, it is a challenge for us, we haven’t played a team like this.”
