Ingredients

500ml sago

1 cinnamon stick

250ml sugar

5ml vanilla essence

4 eggs, separate egg whites from yolks

1 x 380g Ideal milk

1 tin water (use the Ideal milk’s tin)
Method
Soak sago in cold water for 10 minutes.
Preheat oven to 180°C and grease oven-proof dish.
Mix sago and cinnamon and heat slowly in pot until boiling point reached and then simmer for 10 minutes.
Add sugar and vanilla essence and allow to cool for a few minutes.
Add egg yolks to sago mixture and stir well. Then stir in Ideal milk.
Whisk up egg whites until firm and forms points and stir into sago mixture. Pour mixture into oven dish; bake for about 30 minutes.
