Chicken hearts cleaned and rinsed (cut off the white vein)
Ingredients
2 large onions, cut into thin slices
3 whole chillies
3 garlic cloves peeled and grated
3 tablespoons of cooking oil
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of turmeric
1 tablespoon of roasted masala
teaspoon of mustard powder
Some chopped coriander
1/2 a teaspoon of sugar
1 bay leaf
Method
Heat the oil and add your onions and chillies, and fry till light brown.
Add the rest of the ingredients and stir fry for 10 minutes on medium heat.
Add a cup of water and stir, put lid on your pan or pot and allow to simmer for 25 minutes.
Serve hot with crusty bread.
