It was a terrible day at the office for Cape Town’s teams in the Championship on Tuesday.
Bottom-of-the-log Cape Town Spurs suffered yet another defeat when they were klapped 3-0 by Bizana Pondo Chiefs to keep them cemented at the foot of the standings and in deep trouble.
They will have to do a big reset once they recover from a heavy outbreak of Covid-19 recently.
It didn’t go much better for promotion-chasing Cape Umoya either, as they went down to Uthongathi FC 2-1, while Cape Town All Stars completed a miserable day for the Capetonians losing 2-0 at home to Free State Stars.
Log leaders JDR Stars won the other match of the day, beating Polokwane City 2-1 away from home.
