Steenberg police are hunting several suspects who abducted, assaulted and raped a meisie before throwing her out of their vehicle.
The 16-year-old girl went missing on Saturday after she was allegedly headed to her friend’s house, but never arrived there.
It is believed she was abducted by three unknown men who forced her into their vehicle and drove around the Peninsula with her.
The three men brutally attacked the teen and she was then thrown out of the vehicle on Sunday near Retreat train station where she managed to get help.
The Daily Voice contacted the teen’s family, but her devastated mother refused to speak.
However, the mother rubbished claims of her daughter’s injuries, as described on a voicenote which has been
making the rounds on social media.
The voicenote from an unknown source states: “She was taken by these men and a pill was shoved down her throat. Her legs and knees are broken.
“She has love bites all over her body and these three guys who were wearing balaclavas raped her.
“She has sperm in her hair also. She is wearing one of her attackers’ T-shirts as they ripped her clothes off.
“When they threw her out of the car, she crawled into Steenberg police station on her bum.”
Although police were tight-lipped regarding the details of the case, police spokesperson Siyabulela Malo confirmed a case of rape has been opened for investigation.
“Kindly be advised a case of rape has been opened for investigation. No arrests have been made so far,” Malo said.
