One person has been taken in for questioning following the murder of controversial lawyer Pete Mihalik.
Mihalik was shot and killed and his eight-year-old son injured in a shooting outside Reddam House school in Cavalcade Road, Green Point on Tuesday morning just before 8 am.
Mihalik's son has since been stabilised and moved from the New Somerset Hospital to a private facility for further treatment.
It is alleged that a metallic grey VW Polo pulled up to the school, a suspect got out of the car and walked up to the car Mihalik was seated in and shot him through the window.
A spokesperson for the anti-gang unit spoke to the Daily Voice and confirmed that a suspect has been taking in for questioning.
