A Manenberg skollie will appear on attempted murder charges for allegedly shooting three boys this week.
According to a source, the 22-year-old man is one of eight Fancy Boys arrested by the Anti-Gang Unit after a spate of shootings in Manenberg.
On Tuesday night, Niyaaz Jansen, 10, Giovanni Ploens, 13, and Chadley Minnaar, 16, were hospitalised after two gunmen opened fire on the laaities who were dancing in the front yard of Chadley’s home.

Virginia Minnaar, 61, says Chadley was playing music on his cellphone and the kids were dance battling when shots rang out.
Chadley was hit in the abdomen while Niyaaz and Giovanni were both hit in the leg.
Their families confirmed they have undergone surgery for the injuries.
The following night, the Anti-Gang Unit (AGU) arrested eight suspects between the age 16 and 42 in Manenberg on charges of attempted murder, murder and possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition.

Police spokesperson, Captain FC van Wyk, says: “The vigilant members acted upon the information about the shootings that occurred in the area over the past few days where a female victim was shot and fatally wounded due to a stray bullet and three boys aged [from] 10 [to] 16 were wounded.
“The members conducted a further investigation and went to the premises at Gamtoos Street and they arrested two suspects who were found in
possession of a 9mm pistol with a magazine. It is alleged the firearm was used during the shootings.”
