Children looking for their ball made a gory discovery when they found a man floating in a dam on a farm in Schaapkraal.
Police divers and forensic teams were called out to the farm on Wednesday just after 2.30pm.
At first residents believed the man’s hands were tied and that an item was stuffed inside his mouth.
But cops reveal they do not suspect foul play as it appears the 33-year-old man drowned in the murky waters.
A resident, who asked not to be identified, says children made the discovery: “The children’s ball landed up in the dam and they managed
to get it.
