The three men accused of killing Meghan Cremer have revived their bid to get out of the mang by launching a new bail application at the Athlone Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.
Jeremy Sias, 27, who is charged with Meghan’s murder, is reportedly claiming that cops beat him up until he “could no longer handle it”, after which he confessed to killing the 30-year-old woman.
Sias also demanded access to the police docket ahead, containing his confession and notes about him pointing out the location of Meghan’s body.

But this was denied after Prosecutor Emily van Wyk who said it would prejudice the State’s case.
After abandoning an earlier bail application, Sias, and co-accused, Charles Daniels, 39, and Shiraaz Jaftha, 34, returned to court on Wednesday saying they were the breadwinners for their families and being kept in the tronk was depriving their families.
Meghan, 30, went missing on 3 August from her home on Rietvlei farm, and her body was found on 8 August in a sand mine in Philippi after Sias allegedly confessed and showed cops where to find her body.
She had been strangled to death and a rope was found around her neck.

The trio were arrested after they were found in possession of her stolen Toyota Auris.
Family friend, Linda Mohr, said Sias had worked as a labourer on their farm and was known to Meghan.
The case was postponed to 27 December for arguments.
The three face charges of vehicle theft and defeating the ends of justice, and Sias an extra charge of murder.
