A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Levonna Jacobs, accused of murdering her aunt and cousin and then allegedly burying them in their own backyard after she failed to pitch for court and dodged calls from authorities.
On Monday morning Judge Mushtak Parker revoked Jacobs' bail and issued an immediate warrant for her arrest.
Her lawyer, Advocate Johannes Solomons told the court he could not locate Jacobs via her cellphone.
The matter had been set down for closing arguments and judgment.
Virna Jacobs, 47, and her only child, Rowena Jacobs, 25.
The State is set to prove Jacobs suffocated her aunt, Virna Jacobs, 47, and cousin Rowena Jacobs, 26 to death and that she buried them in their backyard before their bodies were dug up in December 2015.
They also allege her motive was to gain ownership of the house in Sering Street, Delft-South which belonged to her uncle, Donovan Jacobs who died in March 2015 after he was attacked during a fight over a burger.
