The two men accused of murdering seven-year-old Emaan Solomons and wounding a male victim in Ocean View have abandoned their bail.
Eben Basson, 27, and Chivargo Fredericks, 20, both of Ocean View made their second appearance at the Simonstown Magistrates’ Court on Friday where they are facing charges of murder and attempted murder.
The State is set to prove the two belongs to the 27's gang, JFK also known as Funkies and that they had been responsible for the death of Emaan and wounding a man.
The second victim may not be identified.
A war between the JFK gang and their rival is said to be over turf in the Ocean View community.
Emaan was shot in the chest and hand while playing in the front yard of her home in Libra Street on February 25.
