Trevor Noah has announced that The Daily Show show will not be filming episodes for a week.
In a video, the comedian says: “We at The Daily Show have decided that we are not going to be having shows next week. We won’t be recording anything from the studio because we are trying to do our part to socially distance ourselves. Let’s try and stay away from bars and restaurants...

“The longer we stay out there, the longer coronavirus stays a threat, and the longer the medical system will struggle.
“Stay home, stay safe, wash your hands, facetime your friends, and hopefully soon we will see the other side of it... stay in good spirits.
He also joked: “Stop hoarding things, you don’t have to buy all the toilet paper, I don’t know what kind of s***s you’re having but calm down. Take what you need and leave the shop...”
