A Delft father is pleading for help to find his daughter who went missing on Sunday.
Petronella Dawood, 20, from Voorbrug was last seen at Southfield Train Station at 8.30am by her spiritual mentor and pastor while on her way to church.
Her worried father, Ismail Dawood, 52, says his daughter, who is currently unemployed, has never done anything of this nature before.
“She left home heading for church. She attends church in Bergvliet and was last seen by her pastor who also acts as her spiritual mentor,” Dawood says.
“The pastor told me she was heading to church and she asked Petronella if she would like a lift in her car. She refused the lift and was adamant she was going to take the train at Southfield station. She has not been seen since,” he says.
Petronella was last seen wearing white jeans, a light pink t-shirt and pink Converse All Star takkies.
She is described as having shoulder length brown hair that’s been plaited into corn rows.
Dawood says his daughter has brown eyes, a broad nose, thin lips and is of average height.
“I just want her to come home. We are extremely worried about where she is. Petronella, wherever you may be, please let us know.
“Wherever you are please just contact us and we will come to fetch you wherever you may be,” the worried father adds.
The family has opened a missing person’s report at Diep River SAPS.
