Grassy Park cops have found R250 000 worth of drugs hidden inside a porridge box following a tip-off.
Cops swooped on a house in New Horizon on Friday and searched the house, a bungalow and a hokkie in the yard.
In the hokkie, cops found four packets of mandrax tablets, five packets of heroin and one packet of tik hidden inside a box of Bokomo porridge.
Police say the drugs are estimated to be worth R250k.
Grassy Park SAPS spokesperson, Captain Wynita Kleinsmith, says a 31-year-old man was arrested and will be facing a charge drug dealing.
In Grassy Park, police searched a tuck shop and seized a large amount of dagga and cash.
A 45-year-old woman was arrested for dealing in dagga.
In Keith Road, Ottery, cops also nabbed a 49-year-old woman and her son after finding a large amount of dagga worth R30k, glass tubes and dried up mushrooms in a tuck shop.
All the suspects are to appear at the Wynberg Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
